Freyagushi’s Great Gory Gothic Goodies–Sink Your Teeth Into It!
Scarlet’s been away for far too long–her humble apologies! Now it’s time to take a walk on the wild side for a bit. If you read my “Gothic Lolita” tab you will notice that I mention a “Gory Lolita” look that comprises a category in the Gothic and Lolita genre. Pinkindus’ Freyagushi line offers a gory look that expresses this style quite nicely. Based out of England, she launched a line of corsetry and cinchers in 2000. She also began experimenting with materials to show off a new line inspired by the medical community. This style has become her own brand and trademark. Interestingly enough, she didn’t learn to sew her styles until late in life! She found she needed to be trained to execute her own unique designs. However, she loved the unusual and unique at a very young age and went to great lengths to create her unconventional wardrobe. If you view her website you’ll find other feminine styles available as well. But Pinkindus’ website is a must-see. She does do custom-work and she has a size chart included as well. Her work has been featured in several unique Gothic and alternative fashion magazines. If you would like to view her work or purchase one of her cool creations, check out her website and Etsy store below.
