Scarlet admits that Bijou Graphique is one of her favorite sites, and she actually owns a piece of this jewelry herself–an incredible necklace. It’s wickedly gorgeous and created by none other than Dawn Estrin and George Wilson. Scarlet had the good fortune to meet Dawn at a craft show, and she was so captivated by Dawn’s work that she had to purchase a special piece for herself. Dawn and George have been partners for over twenty years and find that their creativity and craftsmanship make for not only great fun but for some really cool and exciting jewelry. All jewelry is made from sterling and gemstone beads and gem accents. The focal points are actually photographs that have been “miniaturized” to retain every ounce of their color, beauty, and detail. Dawn graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art, and later learned the art of photography, which she continues to enjoy.
